VET Festival receives ‘Best Conference by a Small Company’ award

VET Festival, in partnership with Centaur Services, received the award for ‘Best Conference by a Small Company’ at the Conference Awards 2017, in recognition of the innovative and dynamic learning environment and practically relevant CPD programme. Still only in its third year, the award is a testament to how far VET Festival has grown since Professor Noel Fitzpatrick founded the conference in 2015.

The Conference Awards Judging Panel 2017 commented on VET Festival: “The passion of the organiser shone through. It was a unique set-up for this market, creating a strong and sustainable USP. Clever use of a festival theme to immerse and deepen the audience engagement. They [the organisers] had undertaken robust research enabling a genuine understanding of the industry and its challenges.”

The Conference Awards is a flagship event in the conference calendar, which took place on Friday 30th June at Tobacco Dock, London that recognises and rewards conferences and its teams for excellence across the globe.

Founder of VET Festival, Professor Noel Fitzpatrick said:VET Festival is a veterinary education event designed to synchronise the feelings of joy we experience at a music festival with the academic punch of the best conferences and symposia. I am absolutely thrilled that the VET Festival team has won the Best Conference by a Small Company in recognition of the energy and empowerment the event offers delegates as they leave the field with new ideas, knowledge and a renewed passion for the veterinary profession.”
