Dr Adin received a DVM with distinction from Cornell University’s College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. He went on to complete a clinical and research fellowship in renal medicine and haemodialysis at the University of California, Davis, followed by a three-year residency in Small Animal Surgery at the same institution.
Since 2001, Dr Adin has held positions in both academic and specialty practice, specialising in soft tissue surgery. His translational research programme has focused on the evaluation of novel surgical therapies in companion animals. More recently, Dr Adin has dedicated his career to improving the work-life balance and career satisfaction of veterinarians and house officers in academia. He is currently Professor and Chair of the Department of Small Animal Clinical Sciences at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine.
