Enzo graduated from the University of Perugia (Italy) in 2006 defending a thesis on General Anaesthesia of the Foal. After spending two years in some of the busiest first opinion and referral practices in Roma (Italy), where he focused mainly on anaesthesia and emergency and critical care, in March 2009 he moved to the United Kingdom to undertake a one-year internship in small animal anaesthesia at the University of Liverpool.
In September 2010 Enzo started a four-year residency in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia at the School of Veterinary Medicine in Glasgow (Scotland), where he stayed as university clinician until June 2017. He is currently working as anaesthetist at Fitzpatrick Referrals.
He passed the credentials to sit his qualifying boards and is currently studying towards the European Diploma in Veterinary Anaesthesia and Analgesia. Enzo enjoys all aspects of anaesthesia and analgesia. His main interests are Total Intravenous Anaesthesia (TIVA) and Target Controlled Infusion (TCI) in companion animals, loco-regional analgesic techniques and chronic pain in cancer patients.
