Matthew has over twenty-five years’ experience in nursing exotic species, both in the UK and abroad. He is interested in all aspects of animal health and welfare of exotic species and is passionate about veterinary nursing and is dedicated to try and promote the profession and is now vice chair of RCVS VN council and the current chair of the Association of Zoo and Exotic Veterinary Nurses (AZEVN). Matthew has published lectured on many aspects of veterinary nursing of exotics species from turtles to tigers!
Matthew is currently nursing manager and lead exotics nurse for Holly House Veterinary Hospital in Leeds a multidisciplinary referral centre, as well as providing veterinary nursing support to Wildlife Vets International, assisting on conservation projects around the world.
