Rosie has worked in the Australian veterinary industry for nearly twenty years. She is a counsellor, educator, human resource advisor and former vet nurse, focused on developing mentally-healthy veterinarians, nurses and their workplaces. A passionate advocate for workplace wellness, Rosie regularly speaks on topics related to resilience, emotional intelligence, grief and trauma, high-performing teams and communication.

Rosie is the founder of Mindpod, a business dedicated solely to the wellbeing of the veterinary industry. She is also the Australian Veterinary Association’s Mental Health First Aid trainer and the head of ‘people wellbeing’ at Sunset Vets, an organisation that provides in-home palliative care and end-of-life services.

Rosie is a registered counsellor and yoga teacher with a Bachelor of Communication and a Masters in Human Resources and Organisational Development.

When not working, Rosie is committed to practicing what she preaches. She is lucky enough to live on the Sunshine Coast in Queensland which involves a lot of sun, surf and sand. She is an avid ocean-swimmer and yogi. Like everyone in this industry, she also has an array of ‘broken’ animals at home that keep her poor but highly entertained!
