Tom is a European and RCVS specialist in Veterinary Neurology. He is clinical lead of the department of Neurology and Neurosurgery at Langford Vets, part of the University of Bristol.

He was an examiner for the European college of Veterinary Neurology from 2013-2017. He has a history of collaboration with human neurology teams within Bristol to bring cutting edge treatments from human to veterinary practice; for example convection enhanced intra-lesional chemotherapy to canine brain tumours and vagus nerve stimulation for drug-resistant canine epilepsy.
